What does Choisi mean (for me)?
"Choisi" means "chosen" in French, and that was my goal with Choisi: to select the most beautiful and functional interior design pieces with strong design appeal. Whether it is throws, planters, glassware, or ceramics, everything at Choisi has been selected for its excellent design - pieces that bring life to the four white walls we call home.
Choisi features a curated selection of brands, particularly from Bornholm (a small island in Denmark) and Belgium. I was born on Bornholm, and although I haven’t lived there permanently, it is part of my identity. My grandparents were from Bornholm, and I have fond memories of many summers and autumn breaks spent on the island. To me, Bornholm is synonymous with art, ceramics, glass, and nature.
Belgian brands also hold a special place in my heart: my partner, Olivier, is Belgian, and during the two years I spent in Antwerp, I discovered many unique Belgian brands.
With Choisi, I want to focus on the handmade, the practical, and the aesthetic, as well as Danish and European design.
