The jewellery is made by jewellery designer May Bjørn Riis, the creative force behind MayB for you. All her jewellery is handmade in her workshop in Gudhjem, Bornholm. As May herself describes it: "When you buy something from a craftsperson, you don't just buy a simple object. You buy hundreds of hours spent on experiments, failures, and successes. You buy days, weeks, and months of frustration and moments of pure joy."

May has been experimenting with glass and glass beads for 20 years. Her delicate jewellery is simple and classic in its expression, and the colour combinations are clearly inspired by Bornholm - cliffs, sea, and forest.
