The beautiful Gilbert Cup from Sandkås Keramik is hand-turned in stoneware clay, often with small pieces of lava added, which creates the unique mottled surface.

After annealing and glazing, the cup is fired hard at 1250 degrees, making it extra durable and suitable for both the oven, microwave and dishwasher.

The glazes are of course approved for food use.
