The jewellery is made by jewellery designer May Bjørn Riis, who is behind MayB for you. All her jewellery is handmade in her workshop in Gudhjem, Bornholm. And as May herself describes it, "When you buy something from a craftsman, you are not just buying a simple thing. You are buying hundreds of hours spent on experiments, failures, and successes. You are buying days, weeks, and months of frustration and moments of pure joy."

May has experimented with glass and glass beads for 20 years. Her fine jewellery is simple and classic in its expression, and the colour combinations are clearly inspired by Bornholm - cliffs, sea, and forest.
