The jewelry is made by jewelry designer May Bjørn Riis, who is behind MayB for you. All her jewelry is handmade in her workshop in Gudhjem, Bornholm. And as May herself describes it, “When you buy something from a craftsman, you are not just buying a simple thing. You are buying hundreds of hours spent on experiments, failures and successes. You are buying days, weeks and months of frustration and moments of pure joy.”

May has been experimenting with glass and glass beads for 20 years. Her fine jewelry is simple and classic in its expression and the color combinations are clearly inspired by Bornholm - rocks, sea and forest.
