Ash cutting board

Beautiful ash cutting board from Skovgård (Tåstrup) on Stevns. Handmade by cabinetmaker Sejer Folke in his workshop in Hellested. 🌲🌸

Dimensions: approx. 17 cm x 40 cm

Care: You will be able to enjoy this board for many years to come, but it requires proper care. Sejer Folke recommends using one cutting board for meat and another for vegetables and bread. Boards should be cleaned by hand after use with a dish brush and warm tap water or boiling water. The use of dish soap (detergent) is not recommended, as this dries out wood, and wood itself is antibacterial. 

When the board starts to look a bit dry, oil it with whatever cooking oil you have on hand (e.g., rapeseed, sunflower, olive oil).
