Beech cutting board with groove

Beautiful beech cutting board with wood from Gjorslev Beech Forest on Stevns. Handmade by cabinetmaker Sejer Folke in his workshop in Hellested. 🌲🌸

Care: You will be able to enjoy this board for many years to come, but it requires proper care. Sejer Folke recommends using one cutting board for meat and another for vegetables and bread. Boards should be cleaned by hand after use with a dish brush and warm tap water or boiling water. The use of dish soap is not recommended, as it dries out the wood, and the wood itself is antibacterial. 

When the board starts to look a little dry, oil it with the cooking oil you have on hand (e.g., rapeseed, sunflower, olive oil).
